Adult Geriatric Nurse Practitioner
Julie is a Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner (CRNP), who works in conjunction with Dr. Zaheer Khan to provide care for the elderly. Julie joined the Center For Aging in 2013 after completing 2 years of clinical training with Dr. Khan and receiving her Masters of Science in Nursing degree from the University of Alabama in Birmingham. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Belmont University in 1998 and has had seven years of Neuro experience and eight years of hospice experience before joining the Center for Elder Care as a Adult Gerontological Nurse Practitioner. Julie has two children and is very involved in her church and enjoys gardening, singing, and playing the piano.
